Well of course what would be the point as no one would be able to. However, together we CAN! And this is the page where we can really start coming together and making change really happen.
Scotland’s eight People Parties, EAST LOTHIAN & EDINBURGH PEOPLE, GLASGOW PEOPLE, HIGHLANDS & ISLANDS PEOPLE, MID SCOTLAND & FIFE PEOPLE, NORTH EAST SCOTLAND PEOPLE, SOUTH SCOTLAND PEOPLE, WEST LOTHIAN & CENTRAL SCOTLAND PEOPLE & WEST SCOTLAND PEOPLE are looking to initially raise £300,000 to print and deliver withthe Royal Mail 2.5 million copies of the STOP The Party Whip and The Block Vote petition to every home in Scotland.
We are hoping to find 300 people to come forward with £1000 each as founder donors. Of course, all donations are welcome but if you know someone who could easily afford £1000 and wants the world to change, please let them know.
My prediction is that 2.5 million letters delivered with the petition would secure at least 1 signature from every 500 homes (or every 1000+ people). This would equate to an initial 5000 signatures. From which, I predict that we can organise a cascade of word of mouth and press coverage which will hopefully secure a further 15 signatures per original signee which equates to a further 75,000 signatures.
A total of 80,000 signatures, 10,000 per Scottish Parliament Region means that Scotland’s Eight new People Parties would almost certainly secure one MSP each in the May 2026 Holyrood Elections.
What a fabulous return for Scotland’s communities that would be for anyone how donates.
As our proposal is such a game changer. So, please really consider donating far more than you would normally donate to a political party.
